Ingredients

  • Coconut milk- 100ml
  • Dates- 12 to 15 soaked in warm water.
  • Saffron- A pinch
  • Pistachio- 5 to 6
  • Almonds- 4 to 6
  • Honey (Optional)- 2 spoons
  • Cardamom powder- According to your taste

Directions

Add dates in warm water and keep for 15-20 minutes. 

Start heating the coconut milk on a low flame and keep stirring. 

Blend and sieve the soaked dates through a mesh to make a thick smooth date paste.

Then add this date paste to warm coconut milk with the rest of the ingredients like Saffron, Cardamom powder, and soaked almonds and pistachios. 

Mix all of these ingredients well. You can add honey for additional sweetness and texture.

Pour into kulfi mould and refrigerate for 4-6 hours.
