Health Benefits

This recipe is a healthy alternative for the most popular street food. Baking the puris makes the recipe all the more healthy. Deep frying involves the use of a great amount of oil and research has found that consumption of refined cooking oil can lead to insulin resistance and diabetes. Homemade street foods assure a high level of hygiene and food safety keeping you away from foodborne illnesses.
